Well, turns out the whole "how did I get an Escalade in The Crew?" question has been answered. My son, on a separate account, bought this very vehicle with real world money. Now, I don't know if he just happened to be logged into (or, I forgot to logout of) my Uplay account or some other glitch occurred, but now both of us have it.
For only $2.99 CDN, I think this could be a wise investment for the both of us.
The new plan going forward is upgrading and using the Uplay Viper for Performance action....
....and let the Escalade take me off-road for the other adventures.
